The visitor information center of the “Pirin National Park” Directorate in the town of Sandanski gives the local people and guests of the city the opportunity to learn more about the biodiversity and natural wealth protected on the territory of the “Pirin” National Park.
- Conduct educational activities with children from the region as well as with guests in the city.
- Provide information to Bulgarian and foreign tourists about the biodiversity in Pirin and the most interesting natural, cultural and historical sights in the entire Pirin region.
- Providing information and promotional materials for Pirin National Park and the municipalities adjacent to the Park.
- Provide information about the tourist routes and sites on its territory.
The Center has an exposition hall with the most common plants and animals and a model of the Pirin Mountains. Multimedia hall presenting the richness of the Pirin National Park.
