This Oak tree, as a monument of nature, is impressive in its size, old age and appearance.
It is one of the oldest oaks in Europe. With its grandeur, this seven-century old tree looks from far looks like a palm with five fingers spread. The volume of the tree is about 10 meters, and the branches span is close to 100 meters. Below it there are two huge heaps of stones, which the inhabitants call the “stone of cry”.
A picnic plaec called Dabot (The Oak) is located on the north side of the village of Beli, on the hill near the monastery “St. Ilija”, 6 km from Kocani, at an altitude of about 400 m.
From Kocani, the route goes to the village of Beli and only one kilometer from the village in the direction of the village Pantelej on the hill it is the picnic place Dabot (the Oak), and in the immediate vicinity is the monastery St. Ilija.
