The Eco-path ” Heaven on Earth” starts at the “Sinevo” locality, which is located 4km away from the town of Belitsa in the direction of the Dancing Bears Park.
There is built resting place with barbecue. The route is easy to recognize as there are fences almost along its length, and the path itself is partly covered with broken gravel.
Length: 7.5km.
Duration: 5h.
On the path you will see the “Tree of Hope” – a century-old beech 450-500 years aged. The eco-trail goes near a truck road through a beautiful beech forest, and you are accompanied by the flying flowers on nature – the butterflies along the road.
The route for its most part follows the ridge, while reaching the “Temnitsko” locality it turns left, and after the turn a magnificent view of the Rila Mountains opens.
Then the route goes downhill to “Zarovets” locality. There, as well as along the entire length of the path, there are recreation areas and bridges to facilitate the transition. From the area “Zarovets” you have to follow at some places gentle and at others very steep sections of climbing. The last part of the eco-path is very easy, following the road to the Dancing Bears Park.
