WATERFALL “CHESNENSKO USOE” – YAKORUDA

The “Chesnensko Usoe” waterfall or “Yakoruda Waterfall” is a beautiful 15-16 meter waterfall.

The waterfall is situated in the center of Chesna River at the southern slopes of the Rila Mountain near Yakoruda. It is not particularly high, but the whole area Treshtenik in which it is located, makes it extremely attractive for many small jumps that river Chesna formed.The waterfall is declared a natural landmark and a protected area.From the pavilion located on the road at about 8 km from the city Yakorouda to the resort Treshtenik by River Chesna starts a path. The path leads to the first of the small waterfalls of the river.  From that point on you can go on by the river bank without following a path, you will pass by some more small waterfalls and then reach the big one “Chesnensko Usoe” Waterfall.
