The archaeological site Dolno Gradiste is a place that is in the immediate vicinity of the dam Gradce and the Waterfall oн Golema Reka.
The archaeological site “Dolno Gradiste” with late antiquity is situated north of Kochani at a distance of 6 km, at the foot of the Osogovo mountain, on the northern shore of the artificial Lake Gradce. The located fortification occupies a space of 1.5 ha, on both sides bordered by the deep gorges of Mala and Golema Reka which in the place of watershed form the Kocanska River.
Access from the dam to the site is by walking or with a bicycle. You can reach the site also by private car or taxi on an asphalt road and before arriving there is about 200 meters to walk on the earth path.
