The newest museum of Bansko town is located on the same location where was the birth house of the first writer of the Bulgarian national revival.
The visitors can learn more about Paisiy Hilendarski and his great achievement here. They can feel the atmosphere of the place where he worked.
The building is replica of the cell in Hilendar Monastery (Athos, Greece) where the finder of Bulgarian Renaissance started to write the first Bulgarian history known as the Slavo-Bulgarian history, and it is just like the chapel “St. Ivan Rilski” a part of the monastery where the monk spent a lot of time in prayers.
