The route is easy for a leisurely walk, does not require special physical training. Rich in attractive tourist spots. Caves and cave churches dating back to the 4th century are available to visitors, there are information boards and the site is illuminated. The monastery of St. Gavril Lesnovsky is a religious, tourist attraction from the 11th century, full of visitors and believers. The route leads to the ethnographic museum, located in the reconstructed village school, which is now used for various events such as the Lesnov Art Colony, camps, etc. In the local restaurant Lesnovski Konak you can enjoy traditional dishes.
Mount Ilia itself is a rare tourist attraction, there is a cave where monks lived in the past, there is also the Lesnov crater, the only volcanic area after Mount Etna, interesting for scientific research in the field of geology. It has all the potential to be declared the first geo-park in the Balkans. Here you can see the natural protected rarities Volcanic bombs, as well as the Black Mulberry tree, which is 500 years old and is located in the monastery.
