The Dragostinov Chark Ecopath is an educational trail designed for people with special needs. It is 4km away above Bansko, adjacent to the road to the Vihren hut. The trail has everything you need for people with special needs. Special flooring, walks to recreation areas, toilets, parking, children’s playground and information boards made according to the requirements for access to the environment.
The Eco path is designed on idea from DNP “Pirin” in the year of 2004, the length is 1.5km. All details on the path – special flooring, approaches to recreational chairs, toilet, parking, playground and information signs for the park are developed according to the requirements for accessibility of the environment and are coordinated with the Center for Independent Living in Sofia.
By building this path, visitors are allowed to combine recreation with nature with learning more about Pirin National Park. The project seeks to achieve a universal solution that makes the site usable by all groups of people, with equal accessibility and equality. The stride is maximum entry in the middle with minimal interference and damage to the forest.
