The Radonova House was built in the beginning of the 19th century. The exhibition in the living quarters follows the historical development of Bansko from its origin until its liberation in 1912.
The emphasis is placed on the significant place that the village occupies in our national history and its remarkable contribution to the establishment of Bulgarian culture.
On the ground floor of the renovated farm buildings, interesting finds from the archaeological excavations in the region are exhibited. Ceramic fragments and fully preserved vessels, varied coinage, plenty of glass, exquisite ornaments and more. have been witnessing activity since the time of the Thracians, which continued in antiquity and the Middle Ages.
The rich ethnographic exposition presents in a unique way the essence and peculiarities of the bustling lifestyle. The diversity of material, characterized by exquisite simplicity, accessibility and the ability to serve man, combines the purely practical requirements of the lifestyle with the aesthetic imaginations of our ancestors.
