Mount Rouen
Rouen is the highest peak of the Osogovo mountain with a height of 2,252 meters. The peak is located on the border between the Republic of Macedonia and Bulgaria, and is part of the 100 national tourist sites of Bulgaria.
The route is 13-14 kilometers long, excellent for tourists who love fresh mountain air, well-prepared and driven by an adventurous spirit, and can be completed in 8 hours on foot.

The trail is available in spring, summer and fall (May – October). In winter, availability depends on snowfall and snowpack thickness.
Life in mountain villages (Sasa village) / biodiversity. The starting point of the route (Water Pools and Mina Sasa 1014 m above sea level) can be reached by an all-terrain vehicle or by car – 12 from Makedonska Kamenitsa. For tourists without their own transport, a taxi can be used from the center of Makedonska Kamenica to the village of Sasa 2.
