1. PIRINA WEDDING
Fragments of a local wedding ritual, accompanied by ritual folk songs: ritual washing and hanging (prebualvane) of the bride, cutting of a cake, shoeing of the bridegroom by the bridegroom, giving and sending off (blessing of the son-in-law and the bride).
2. LET’S COOK A DELICIOUS FEAST
Preparation of traditional feasts from the village of Pirin with ecologically clean products: perleta with drops (young courgettes and green beans), syldurme (summer shepherd’s feast), cooking traditional garden beans in a pot, langids for lauci (birth mothers), milking a goat and preparing of fresh goat’s cheese and yogurt, cooking jam from wild fruits – zunicki (wild strawberries), lingonberry (blueberry), raspberries and blackberries, making ritual bread (invocations, liturgies), rolling a shortbread, making tea.
3. A DAY IN THE VILLAGE
Milking and sending goats to pasture. Walk around some of the local sights and have a picnic. Welcoming and milking the goats. Preparation of food for sitting – placinka (tutmanik), golomyanik (bread with pumpkin and cornmeal). Sedyanka (knitting of lace and stockings, spinning, making decorations for costumes and lapels – an apron).
4. HORSE RIDE (DONKEY)
The historical surroundings of the village of Pirin, the church “Holy Trinity”, the waterfall “Byala Reka” and other attractions of your choice.
5. A MUSICAL WALK THROUGH BULGARIA WITH LYUBIMKA BISEROVA
Presentation of the ethnographic regions of Bulgaria with characteristic folk songs from the respective region: Pirin, Rhodope, Strandzha, Thrace, Severnyashka, Kyustendil, Shop and many more songs: harvest, wedding, Lazarus, Easter, ritual and religious.
6. LET’S SING A FOLK SONG
Pirin double voice, technique for vocal sound extraction, breathing, body position, voice diet.
Folk treatment with herbs and therapy of the voice apparatus in illness.
7. CRAFTS:
– Forge
In the village of Pirin, blacksmithing has existed as a craft since the village was founded in 1150. Generations of blacksmiths have crafted knives and tools there. Now, in the only remaining small forge, the 65-year-old Bai Kolyo works, with which you can forge yourself a horseshoe from iron that will bring happiness to your home.
– Weaving
on silk, cotton or woolen cloth, for making costumes and blankets. Wool processing technology. Yarn dyeing with natural herbs and potions. Native colors and patterns. Making fragments to decorate a costume.
