Malesh region complements and enriches its tourist offer connecting the two tourist settlements Ablanica and Ravna Reka with 4,1 km long hiking trial, passing through wonderful forests along the valley of the River Bregalnica.
Ablanica is a tourist settlement spread on both sides of the river Bregalnica, in the Bregalnica valley. It is located 2 km from Berovo and is the place with the most and most-attractive archaeological sites in the municipality. These sites are not currently available for the general public or not explored, but they are the potential for expanding this route in the future. The settlement has about 130 weekend houses, some of which are private accommodation facilities in the municipality, for renting and staying of the guests. Ablanica is also connected with the tourist settlement Ravna Reka (Flat River) in the Municipality of Pehcevo with a hiking trail that is only 4.1 km long, and also this path goes through Berovo – Ablanica hiking trail towards the Berovo Lake (Trail 5). Due to the great popularity of the settlement, for the needs of the tourists, church “St. Nedela (Sunday) and St. Petka (Five)” are built.
Tourist site “Ravna Reka (Flat River)” – Summer gazebos and barracks, the place is suitable for rest and recreation and a picnic. This tourist site is abundant with lush vegetation, plains and waterfalls, known as Pehcevski Waterfalls. Pehchevski waterfalls, a total of four, are called a place where you can lure the natural force and they are a true art of nature, created along the river Bregalnica.
