On the 12 km north of Kocani, on a mild plain at an altitude of 766 m, northwest of the village Pantelej, there is the monastery complex “Saint Pantelejmon”, which with its historical and primarily religious role deserves special attention.

The frescoes and part of the icons are made by the famous painter Dimitar Papradishki, of which 44 are under protection, there are also buildings – quarters and economic buildings. The small one-nave church of St. Bogorodica was built in the time of abbot Hadzi Haralampij. It is painted by Zaharij Dimitriev Samokovec in 1872.
