LUKEWARM MINERAL BATHS – OSHTAVA

The Oshtavski Mineral Baths, briefly called “Banite”, is a group of five mineral springs located at about 600 meters above sea level, but only two of them are of practical use – the Lukewarm one and the Hot-boiled one, known as “Hladkata” and “Vrjalata”. “Hladkata” (The Lukewarm) Bath is located 3 km northeast of Stara Kresna in the area Banishte. The spring used has a constant temperature of 38°С and it helps in the treatment of the musculoskeletal system and bone-joint diseases. Both sources are suitable for general strengthening of the body. The bath is separated into male and female. There are conditions for overnight stay in the tent and in the rooms that are located above the bathrooms. There are also dairies in the village where from you can buy very fresh cheese and cheese.
