Chengino Kale – Site – The Old Guardhouse, In the area of Cengino Kale there is also the old Guardhouse where the soldiers lived. Around the site there is a huge green area with many natural beauties. The locality is located a few kilometers from the Ravna Reka tourist village. This place is known as the easternmost point of the Republic of Macedonia, on the very state border with neighboring Bulgaria. Here are the picturesque springs of the Bregalnitsa River in the bosom of the Maleshevska Planina.
Peak Chinchino Kale – mountain peak and Orlovi Ochi lake. The Cengino Kale peak is at 1745 m above sea level. It is located in the Maleševo Mountains – Pehčevo Municipality and is the easternmost point of the Republic of Macedonia and the former Yugoslavia. At the very top there is a small lake Eagle Eyes, which is believed among the people to have healing powers. The path to the top passes through the beautiful Pehchevski waterfall, the trail is about 9 km long from the huts.
From here you can see the most beautiful view of the Pirin and Rila mountains with the Vihren and Musala peaks. Believe it! Whoever came here once, surely came a second time and several times.
