BLUE CIRCULAR ROUTE

Senokos village and the surrounding area, Simitli municipality – eco and mountainous.

The route starts from the gazebo in the center of the village (right next to the fountain from the previous routes), goes down past the church, the Town Hall and the beautiful, but dilapidated Popova House – a former inn and a memory of better times for the village. It descends into the ravine of the river, which is crossed by a small wooden bridge. The path is not difficult, but it is slow going due to the presence of many blackberry and raspberry bushes, especially when they are in season. The path passes just above the last Houses of the Vezenkovtsi hamlet, turns up and crosses the Senokos-Dyakovtsi asphalt road; walk a little along it and turn off on the road to the village of Kalaidzhiyska. It crosses the hamlet, and meandering between meadows and gardens, it emerges on the Mazne Hill below Maznevska Mahala. It crosses the Senokos-Shirinata dirt road and descends through a beautiful beech forest to the river and Papchiovtsi hamlet. It follows a descent on a dirt road past the village of Grkovtsi and you exit at the starting point in the central village.
