800 meters north of the village of Dobursko there is an old Roman oven, which was discovered accidentally after a heavy storm in 2001.
In the roots of a fallen tree reveal brick arches forming a small tunnel. It was found to be an ancient Roman ceramic furnace designed for the production of bricks and tiles in the III-V century. Archaeologists find that this is a two-chamber semi-dug-shaped furnace with a rectangular elongated shape. The arches form a semicircular vault that supports the grate on which the ceramic prepared for firing is arranged. The Roman furnace in Dobarsko is one of the few furnaces of this type found on the territory of Bulgaria, extremely well preserved till nowadays. Throughout the path to the Roman furnace there are signboards and markings.
